How much is in a serving?

Here is a brief listing of examples from each food group, this will give you an idea of serving size.  Click on each link to see the whole list:

Vegetable Group

1/2 cup of cooked vegetables, such as: carrots, broccoli, green beans, etc.
1/2 cup raw vegetables, such as: carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.
1 cup of tossed salad
3/4 cup vegetable juice
1 cup raw leafy vegetables, such as: lettuce--(romaine) spinach, collard or turnip greens, etc.
