  Angel Food Cake

1-1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1- 3/4 sugar

13 egg whites

½ tsp. cream of tartar

1/3 tsp. salt

1 ½ tsp. vanilla

¾ tsp. almond extract

Sift flour and sugar together (4 x) mix egg whites, cream of tartar, salt and flavorings with beater until soft peaks form. Add the remaining sugar to the egg whites in 4 additions, fold the flour mixture into cake pan and bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

Serves: 12
