16-oz. lean ground turkey or 93% extra lean ground beef

2 tbsp. Fresh garlic, diced

2 tbsp. Fresh cilantro, chopped or 1 tsp. dried

½ cup crushed fat-free saltines

3 tbsp. Fat-Free Parmesan Cheese

1 tsp. sugar

1 egg white

Dash salt and pepper

Directions:

In medium size bowl mix all ingredients together. Make small balls, and then flatten with a fork like a hamburger patty. Sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper. Cover bottom of a large skillet with non-fat cooking spray. Cook 10-15 minutes or until done, turning meatballs; cook thoroughly.

Makes about 24 small Turkish meat ball patties.

  • Great side for Manicotti or Spaghetti w/ Marinara Sauce.
